Dear Fellow Skalleagues and Friends,
 
Our annual August getaway held August 20-22 at the fabulous OCEAN REEF CLUB in Key Largo was an unparalleled success. 
A record breaking 50 plus members and guests enjoyed the 2,500 acre world class resort's amenities and ambiance.
From hanging out at the wonderful pool or beach to boating, diving, shopping, exploring their various restaurants....the weather cooperated nicely to afford us the casual sophistication of the many amenities offered.  
We want to extend the Miami club's gratitude to Ocean Reef President Paul M. G. Astbury and his entire staff for making our stay one to remember.
From the bountiful cocktails and fabulous canapes in the beautiful Sunrise Villa, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean,  to the lavish Saturday night Beach Party BBQ complete with a whole roasted Pig, the entire staff went out of their way to assure our comfort and pleasure.
Comments from virtually all who attended felt this was the best August outing ever.
 
Ivette Day has a great evening in store for us on Tuesday, September 14Th at our fall opening meeting at the famous SMITH & WOLLENSKY in South Beach.
Be sure not to miss this meeting and bring your prospective member guests to experience the amicale and ambiance of our Miami Skal Club.
